Boarding
There is stabling for sixty horses in four barns, an indoor arena, four large outdoor arenas, and access to private trails. Click to download a PDF map of our facilities.
Grazing Fields offers several different boarding options. Included for all boarders is grain; hay and Dengie fed three times daily; appropriate daily turnout, either in large grass pastures or individual paddocks, with boots and blankets changed as needed; daily stall cleaning and bucket scrubbing.
All GFF horses are kept on a daily worming program and also receive a hoof supplement and electrolytes. Grazing Fields trainers keep an exercise and training schedule for each horse, and all routine farrier, dentist, and veterinary care is scheduled by our staff.
Showing
Grazing Fields riders show at competitions at all levels. Our riders compete at one-day shows, where riders can show in divisions ranging from walk-trot and short stirrup up through the "big eqs". Stops on our "A" circuit show schedule include the Winter Equestrian Festival in West Palm Beach and Tampa, Florida, St. Clements Saratoga, the Devon Horse Show, Lake Placid, the Head of the Bay Classics, and the Fidelity Jumper Classic.
Pony riders at GFF look forward to attending the USEF National Pony Finals each year, and our Junior and Amateur-Owner Jumper horses and riders have often been selected to represent the United States at the North American Young Riders Championships.
Regional year end finals we attend include the Massachusetts Hunter/Jumper Medal Finals, Massachusetts Horsemens Council, Rhode Island Horsemens Council, and New England Horsemens Council Medal Finals.
National finals and year-end shows we attend include the USET Medal Final, the National Children's and National Adult Medal Finals, the Capital Challenge, the USEF Hunter Seat Medal Final, the Pennsylvania National Horse Show, the Washington Equitation Classic, the Washington International Horse Show, and the ASPCA Maclay Final. Grazing Fields riders are consistently in the ribbons at all these shows!
